OUR MISSION

The purpose of Destiny Christian Academy is to raise up children on a firm foundation of the Word of God and to equip them academically and spiritually to pursue their God-given destinies.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 (NLT)

“You have been taught the Holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

 PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

In August of 2009, God placed a vision on my heart to start a Christian School. I was immediately led to 2 Timothy 3:15-17 where God revealed the purpose of this school. It is the Word of God that teaches, corrects and leads us into truth. It prepares and equips us for our destiny. Consequently, how can we have an education system teaching our children and shaping their worldview apart from the Word of God?

Our public education system is in a similar state to the walls of Jerusalem in Nehemiah’s time. The foundation is no longer on Christ. In Nehemiah chapter 2 verse 17 we see that Nehemiah took it upon himself to rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem. He saw something precious to God needing repair. This generation needs the “education” wall rebuilt. We believe that we owe it to our children to provide a Christian atmosphere where they can learn and develop their academic abilities. A place where their gifts and talents can be nurtured by the presence of God. They are at an influential stage in their lives where they are developing their worldview.

There is great potential in a generation raised with a Christian worldview. Let’s assume the responsibility and together we can invest in our children’s future and see them change our nation and our world.
